Does anyone else on here suffer from full body idiopathic small fibre neuropathy. I would love to chat to you if the answer is yes.

Hi. I'm in the US.

I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy a lot of years ago.

I try to explain it like "there is a low voltage electrical current coursing along my nerve pathways. ALL of them, ALL of the time."

I can hear it in my head.

I was taking a high dosage of Gabapentin [Neurontin] for many years. Stopped taking it last winter and restarted at the lowest dosage a few months ago.

It isn't good for my kidneys, but I already have stage 4 renal disease so I guess they don't think it will do any harm to treat my neuropathy [half-assed]somewhat.

Neuropathic pain and disruption is uncomfortable, sometimes painful.

I'm sorry you are having to deal with this.
