I've gradually reduced my duloxetine from 90mg to 30mg and have been doing really well..or so I thought. Have been experiencing an upset tummy and nasty diahorrea/digestive probs with it now though..has anyone else had this problem..does it stop?

I’ve been reducing my pregablin from 300 to now 75. But this week I’ve really struggled. I also think it’s to do with an infection I have and the antibiotics I’ve been on. But duloxetine next on my list. Well done you for doing it. What made you come off it!? X

I've been on Amitryptiline since 2006 and duloxetine for the past few years and just felt so dopey. I just couldn't pinpoint what were symptoms of fibro/EDS/ haemachromatosis or drug related. Have put on a lot of weight over the years and felt I wanted to wake myself up a bit. Came off Amitryptiline quite easily but know duloxetine is notoriously difficult so have thrown myself into gym classes to feel good/ wear myself out and make my muscles ache in a good way.

I thankfully couldn't take Gabapentin or pregabalin and was put on Amitriptyline when I was first diagnosed (7 years ago) what a nightmare!!! I took these for nearly two years before changing to duloxitine, however, these made me sweat so much and put on weight, I decided to come off them and back onto Fluoxityne (Prozac) with Tramadol for pain! After 2 years on both of these I decided to come of the Prozac and try to reduce the tramadol with the help of CBD OIL. What a difference this has made to my life!!! I've lost 4 stone and kept it off.... completely off Prozac and reduced tramadol by half!! (Was on 8 a day..... now 4) I still have pain and fatigue but I'm very good at pacing and recognise the symptoms of FLARE very quickly as my body and mind are not dulled by prescription drugs! My Dr isn't really interested in finding a solution and just threw more medication at me over the years! I decided that it's my body and I will do all I possibly can to be a "better me" I have very good days and really bad days, but I won't quit! Have a blessed day and take care of you!🙏🏽💕💕
