Is 500 mg paracetamol 30mg codine phrosperate strong.

Yes, it's prescription strength. I use it for pain and find it really works.

It is cocodamol, just the strength of the codeine is higher. The highest strength cocodamol you can buy over the counter is 8mg of codeine where as this is 30mg codeine.

Codamol comes in two strengths 8/500 and 30/500 with the later having 30mg Codeine and 500 Paracetamol as you alluded too.

I take it every day and it really helps me, although it is quite strong. If your doc has given it to you, you should take it when needed.
