hi came of amitriptyline 50mg a day about a month a go as there were two many side effects have been put on pregablin 100mg ive had awful withdrawl from the amitriptyline the worst no sleep 3 hours a night thr dr has give me a small dose of sleeping pills not keen has anybody else been through this x

Hi Hun, yes can relate to that. I came off amitryptiline due to the side effects. You’re right though, the withdrawals were awful too. I was already on pregabalin so just had to try and cope with the withdrawal symptoms. I did try some sleeping tablets but definitely didn’t help me. So, I had to just take it a day at a time to get through it.
