Luckier than I thought...

One of the main things Ive learned since I joined the forum, is that compared to some, I'm not as badly off as I thought I was; this has helped my 'mood' a great deal. Some of you are suffering dreadfully, and, while my own day to day life has altered dramatically in the past year or two, I can only imagine what it must be like for some of you lot to do the daily tasks which I am still fortunate enough to be able to do reasonably easily. Got a visit booked tomorrow with a different Doctor to my usual, and am going armed with some of the excellent advice I have had from you lot, things that would never have occurred to me to ask. I'm so very grateful to you all for the time youve taken to help, and I hope you all have a great Christmas, a very happy 2017, and that can you can all be as well and as pain free as is possible. My Da used to say that you only complain about having no shoes until you meet people whove got no feet; like, no matter how badly youre feeling, there are others suffering far more than you, and thats what Ive learned over the last few days on here. xx
