Hi Diana, I can hear the desperation in what you write, sadly, I fear that in the over 35 years that I have suffered with fibro, no cure has been found. Yes, there are much better drugs to help cope with the pain side of things and they have made a lot of difference for some people. I also wonder if you have thought of a pain management course which again some people have found very helpful. I am sad to say I don't think the ability to "stop it" is likely to be found very soon, and I certainly don't anticipate it happening within my lifetime - which I wish with all my heart they could, but in reality, and do forgive me please for not being more positive, I fear it will not happen.

Could I suggest though that you read the post below your from Ken, and go to the link, it makes for some interesting reading.

Or how do we keep from super gluing pur spouses lips ehen they say, " I just deal with my pain"?

I can only suggest hiding the superglue in a very secret place, and make your husband go to a fibro therapy course and listen in for a few times, maybe then he will realise what you are having to contend with on a daily basis 😳

Where would I find a fibro therapy course? Really, I've never heard of them, but would love to go-both of us!

I am so genuinely sorry to read of your suffering and struggling and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution to these issues. There are some printable fact sheets about Fibro on the mother site that you could print off and give your spouse to read?
