Hi fibro 10 - if your mouth is so sore as well, is there any chance you may have oral thrush which is easily treated with medication from your GP, tho' surely your GP would have diagnosed it ?

I'll see the oral surgeon 4/7/16 who is putting in a bone craft to eventually do an implant where a my tooth was pulled on 4/4/16. The tooth had abscessed. This may have caused the problem as my mouth is irritated. Been on antibiotics since Last Sunday.

I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I would discuss it with your GP just to get other medical conditions ruled out of the equation. It is probably mouth ulcers? But I would think it needs looking at? Please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

My dentist says its stones and said to swish wit salt water. The oral surgeon agrees and will see me again in two weeks to reavalut whether surgery is necessary.

I have fibro.  My mother did not.  Her salivary glands also had stones and they had to be removed.  She said they were painful.

My dentist suggested I swish with salt water a few times a day

The main stone dissolved. Now I'm working on a smaller one in the corner of my mouth.
