Need help

Hi everyone need your help. I was diagnosed with RA in 2013.

Have been on steroids, methotrexate (25gm tablets and injections) sulphasaladine, hydroxychloroquine and unable to take any of them. Stopped sulpha saline, methotrexate November had to stop hydroxycholoquine mid December because it damaged my eyes.

Since stopping all, I have pain in my jaw, my neck, my arm. My muscles scream and I am finding it very difficult to sleep at night and to move without pain until early afternoon.

My question is, is this fibromyalgia.

It may be but the symptoms of fibro are so varied that it is difficult to diagnose and a lot of tests are needed before you can get a diagnosis.

I am so genuinely sorry to read of how you are suffering and struggling, and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck. As mayrose says, they well could be Fibro but they could also be a different medical condition? It may be beneficial to discuss how you are feeling with your GP or medical specialist
