Oh no that is awful I can often get a burning in the calves and thighs which is bearable in the day time but is so distracting at night. I am a terrible sleeper so can commisserate with you.x

Welcome Rebecca ... I see that you have made it thru your first day and night on the forum ... I am settling in for what may be a long, sleepless night for me, too. Many nights of insomnia lately for me here in Texas ... You see there are a few of us Americans across the pond that have been allowed on here, too!

I am personally quite glad, because it's been a lifesaver for me! I've learned a lot, and it's great company at night during the wee dark hours when my Hubby is either traveling or happily for him ~ sound asleep, at our 11:15pm.

I can whine when I'm in pain, ask questions when I need help or answers, have virtual coffee & chat w/Ginsing's (you'll see soon!), or laugh out loud at the jokes and cartoons from those who must prowl the Internet at all hours hunting "diversions" for us from our Fibro maladies! And the creatve writers of poems, and short pieces, "stories" ... thank Goodness for all you people!

I know you will find this site just as welcoming and warm as I have, Rebecca ... glad to have you! Gentle hugs, bk

Hi, hoped you managed to get some sleep, I didn't my legs had a very different idea,think they thought it was come dancing couldn't keep them still and the pain arghhhh.. so today it will be painkillers rest and read a good book...So your'e from Texas my next door neighbor comes from there. Its great to be able to talk to people from all over the world,and like you say very good company when trying to pass the hours away....well thank you so much for your'e reply but I need a coffee now...take care gentle hugs and speak very soon xxxx
