Hi all,
I hope you are all as well as you can be right now.
I am not convinced I have put this in the correct section but I hope people will be able to give advise or the benefit of their own experiences.
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (and other associated problems), around 7 years ago, receive ESA & DLA, as I find work impossible, & live alone. I also receive housing benefit & council tax rebate.
My partner works for herself but only works 16 to 20 hours per week, & lives over an hour away, not ideal as she is my main carer, and we want to take the decision to live together. I have been trying to do some research into this & from what I can see it is almost as though single people in my position are being discriminated against as it makes it impossible with the current rules as they are.
Is there anyone reading this who can point me in the right direction, or who has a personal experience they don't mind sharing please?
