I am so sorry to read that you are getting sore throats, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue. I do not get sore throats from my Fibro but that does not mean that Fibro cannot give you a sore throat?

I do have medications that irritate my throat, especially my inhalers and some of my Osteoporosis supplements. They also give me a very dry mouth and I have to really concentrate when I am talking as it can interfere with this.

I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for?

I don't know cefn. I can't breath through my nose, so my mouth and throat get very dry.

Hi

Yes I get sore throat from time to time ,more so if I'm tired, it can last a day or sometimes a couple of days.

Ive had a bad throat for 4 months and have had antibiotics and throat swabs which did nothing and showed no infection. Just been to ENT who after putting a camera up my nose and down the throat says I have acid reflux and Sjorgens (this is an inflammatory disease and causes dry eyes and throat). I now have something to calm the reflux and have to see my Rheumy about the Sjorgens. Im not saying this is what you have but it might be worth popping to your GP to ask him to check it out. I used to get horrendous sore throats a few years ago. That has settled, although I do quite often feel as if one is starting. It is normally when I am tired. I have had my thyroid checked many times, but it shows nothing. I am also on anti-reflux medication. I know that acid reflux can cause severe sore throats and breathing difficulties. May be a good idea to check with your doctor if you are unsure. Hope you feel better soon. xx

Hi I feel like I have the flu coming on most days and often it's accompanied by a sore throat in both cases it wares off during the day, probably when I've drunk enough fluids x
