Wonderful as usual. I have got to tell you this as I found it so funny. Years back our next door neighbour had a young son who i was very friendly with. One day I was bending over doing something in the plant border and he leant over the fence watching me. He suddenly said Aunty your hair is just like a toad's back. Well my hair has been called alot of things, some unrepeatable when it won;t behave but never likened to a Toad's back. When I mentioned it to his Mom she said it was the best compliment I could have had as he had a little toad in the garden that he adored and when he picked it up he always said how beautiful the browns were on its' back. I don't think a hair colourant called Toad Brown would sell very well do you?

I just love that story, rosewine! It just goes to show that you can't always take things at face value. When being insulted by a child, don't assume that they understand an insult the way you do. They have a fantastic way of looking at the world! This story has put me in a dreamy mood. hahahaha And I love the pile-o-toads. Ind of reminds me of a Big mac, except not as messy. hahaha. The animal world is weird, but then we're animals and maybe the weirdest of all. My budgie sometimes looks at me like he thinks so, anyway.
