Hehe pip, I had a lovely cat for 18 years who I adored, luckily she couldn't get into the house without me letting her in, so she used to bring her "prizes" to underneath my bedroom window and make a very distinctive noise, I called it "sing and song of mousedom" I either ignored or acknowledged according to time of day/night, but she then did whatever she did with said mouse and then yowled a completely different sound to be let in. I now have two terriers one of whom has brought "big game" home for me on occasions, luckily some admonishments have ceased that activity !! So dogs do have their probs too ;-) :-)

Blimey... big game! Probably the game was the same size as my Yorkie ;) Oh and dogs do some disgusting things too. Mine likes to roll in stuff, if you get my drift. I've learned to react quickly else the consequences are gross! Shuddering at the thought ;)

A few of my friends have cats and we've had a few interesting phone calls. I recall one where a mouse was behind the washing machine, with cat yowling in background and my friend getting into some interesting positions. On another time, a vole was somewhere in the lounge but my friend couldn't get to it. She went to bed and was woken when the vole, in a dramatic attempt to escape, was foiled by one of her cats. Result. A lovely mess on the floor after it was regurgitated (yuk).

I'm allergic to cats, so I've never really been in to them, though kitten fur is ok, so I can have cutie cuddles with them :) My dog is a super wimp. If he sees a spider he does this thing where he shakes his head as if the spider is crawling over him. I'm guessing he had a bad experience ;)

Oh me oh my, doesn't that bring back memories!

My cat used to bring me 'breakfastmouse in bed' quite frequently, and being something of an 'aristocat' he would daintily chomp its head off first. :o

I tried everything to stop him, including shutting the bedroom door, but he would jump up and knock the latch down so that he could get in. If he couldn't find a mouse, he would bring a dead bird or a spider, and on one memorable occasion a HUGE rat which was still alive and pretty p*ssed off!

Nooooo, just no. I have three cats, the eldest doesn't bring anything home nowadays (he's nearly 20), the youngest is a mass murderer, she brings in butterflies by the dozen at the moment, it's horrendous. Sometimes they make it back out alive..... The middle one, nearly 2 now, is the real hunter but has never brought home anything bigger than a mouse and he rarely actually kills it, just drops it for his younger friend to play with. The last one was dropped in my bedroom but I got it in a pint glass before it could cause havoc thankfully. Cats, you gotta love 'em.
