Hi elsiegirl I have been waiting 5 months so my daughter rang PIP on 30 th may and was told to ring 5thof june so I rang them yesterday the young gent asked me if ATOS had been in touch for a medical I told him I have had no response from them he gave me a phone number for ATOS and was told the is a back log and in some area its from September so its along waiting game for us all

I genuinely hope that you are feeling well today? I have not personally undergone anything of this nature. However, I have pasted you a link below to the ATOS website whereby you should be able to check up on everything that you need to know. Although ATOS are not doing all of the country anymore, it will give you some guidelines of what to expect etc.

I would suggest you keep ringing Atos on a regular basis. This is what I did and on my last call was given a short notice appointment. I rang on 29/04/2014 and was given appointment for the 02/05/2014. I then received the decision on 28/05/2014 and the money paid into my account on 03/06/2014.

I applied last July for PIP and finally had ATOS assessment last month - Still waiting to hear outcome though. Wonder if that will take another 9 months!

I have waited for nearly one year , then I wrote a letter to CQC, I finally ATOS seen me three days ago and assessedme, and apparently tlified the assesor which was very nice told me, they had not got enough qualifed people to asses this illness hence we have to wait that long, now I have to wait another 2 months before knowing what the result going to be.
