Definitely a trip to the doctor, but in the mean time she could try shifting her weight around a little from one foot to the other (that helps me) or sitting/leaning on the nearest suitable item. I find that on the rare occasions I can't shift/sit that I won't actually collapse, but the feeling is overwhelming.

Just another thought - I find pressing on the place on my back where the pain/discomfort 'surges' can also distract me and almost re-set my pain level

Hi tetley36

I sincerely hope that you and your daughter are feeling as well as you both possibly can be today? As your daughter is only 15 and experiencing such an issue I would clearly advise you to take her to the doctors. I am so sorry to read that she is suffering in this way and I want to wish you all the best of luck with finding some resolution and relief to this issue.

Please take care and keep us all up to date with how she is getting on?

All my hopes and dreams for you both.

Ken
