Hi Dragonfly66

I am so sorry to read that you are also feeling so low and down, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to this issue.

I was wondering if you have discussed the possibility of counselling with your GP? As quite often just having somebody to offload too can help enormously?

Another suggestion, and please do not be offended, but I was wondering if you have ever thought about ringing the Samaritans when you feel really down? As they can be wonderful and very understanding? I have pasted their telephone number below.

As I have said, please do not be offended, I have offered you their telephone number out of friendship and concern for a fellow fibromite.

Telephone: 08457 90 90 90

I really hope that you start to feel less down soon, and please remember that we are always here to answer your posts if you ever need a friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi Dragonfly66

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Please do not apologise, if I see a fellow Fibromite suffering then I do everything I can to help!

I am so delighted to hear that you have a wonderful family and friends and a new job. I really understand when you say that you grieve for your old life, as I do all the time. I had a fantastic career and now it is mostly gone, so I do understand.

Take care and if you ever need somebody to moan at then I am here!

The problem is that this will take time to get your referral, so I would suggest that you keep on discussing matters with your GP until you get your referral through.

Take care

Morning Draginfly,

I know exactly what you mean stand still is so apt. I was released from rheumatology and post ed over to lympho specialist . Mean time I was told "I was care in the community"

So now I have the support of my doctor who appears baffled and just pushes my pain killers around and says I ought to send you back to your specialist. *** right but nothing happens except my disability grows as does my need for pain relief. I also find myself part of the lonely brigade and without this site and healthunlocked I would be in the depths of despair. But we wont let that creep up - we will be positive and stamp our feet while standing still.

Soo thank you every one for all of your support it is tremendous and very much appreciated. I dont thik we express our thanks enough!

fibro is just horrible isn't it. You think things are better and pick up your life again and then all of a sudden it's attacking you again with another flare up and people say 'you look so well' grrrr.

I find that limiting the amount of things i put into a week / day even in my good times helps to enable me to keep going, if i allow myself to get too tired i can go downhill quickly

Its a pain to think 'i want to do xyz but can't because i already have too much in the week' but the cost of not doing so is too costly xxx
