confused- can endometriosis disappear?

Morning all,

I had a scan 6 months ago and they told me I had endometriosis on both ovaries. I recently went for my laprascopy and was told that "nothing was found". Can anyone explain this? Is this the miracle we've been praying for?

Hi EJW14,

It could be a case of wrong diagnosis (the scan). Laparoscopy surgery is the best way to know if you have endometriosis or not. I don't know if the scan is that reliable.

Have you checked with another doctor for a second opinion?

Anyway miracles happen.. :) Hopefully you will receive good news. Fingers crossed.

Good luck!
