I saw my new specialist last monday, he gave me hope again..
Me and my hubby are now on the IVF waiting list.I have lost the weight and am within the criteria, treatment should start in the newyear.
So for now its a feeling of happiness.. and still worry, always worry about success rates and scared of failure, but Im trying to keep positive thoughts.. as my mum would say, think positive and positive will happen... I do hope she's right!
Small victories and slow steps in the right direction for now..
Thanks to everyone for your continued support, without you guys I would have lost the battle long ago..
Hope your all getting on well and also in the right direction...

Your mum is right always stay positive! I'm 40 and I'm due a baby girl today after my 2nd attempt at ivf at Bourne clinic in Cambridge I also had to overcome my weight issues and also had to get onto the waiting list before 39 which I did! My advice to you is to you is to stay strong as a couple as it does get hard and always have a back up plan! Good luck x
Hi. Well first of all – well done you for achieving an ideal weight so that you can go ahead with any treatment needed. This is never an easy feat, so a huge pat on the back! You are now heading in the right direction, albeit not until the New Year, but time will fly. As your mum says “keep positive”, and make sure you and your husband talk to one another about your forthcoming treatment – as they say “it’s good to talk” and will help to keep you both close at this time. Why not have a look at our website infertilitynetworkuk.com for further information and to see how we can support you at this time.
Congrats of getting the ball rolling again. Your mum's right positive thinking helps but I know what you mean it's something i struggle with too, theres always a little voice subconciously whispering away about the things that can go wrong.
Good luck when the time comes I'm sure it will work out for you and your partner! xxx
