i have been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome on my left ovary, and i have been trying to get pregnant for two and half years
Hi there
More often than not, once you have been trying to get pregnant for more than two years, you should be able to ask your GP to refer you to a consultant specialising in infertility for further investigations. It seems as if you might have already been referred to someone, due to you having a diagnosis of PCOS on one ovary? If that is the case, then it would not be unreasonable to ask for a referral back again to discuss possible treatment options for you.
hello..
i am suffering with the same thing and been trying for a baby with my partner now for few years im 22 so no doctor wants to touch me when it comes to p.c.o.s. i've not had much luck with pregnancys i had a eptopic in 2009 they took one my tubes as a young women who was then told kids isnt a possiblty and as of my age nothing can be done but i went to a chinese herbal shop and spoke to there doctor and ive been given some tablets called ovarian cyst & tubal obstruction i have to take 15 of these days and a £20 a tub for one weeks supply its alot of money in these tablets is Huang Qi... Dang Shen...Hong Hua... Dang Gui... Chuan Xiong and Ginseng i dont know if these work 3months supposed to be on them i did however last month chuck up 5poss tests but unfortunately due to me stop taking the meds i couldnt hold the term of the pregnancy but never the less im continuing the tablets at 15 aday been told a dozen of helpfull tips..... eat grapes....lay on belly after sex...keep feet warm at all times plus ur own body... regular excerise with p.c.o.s helps alot! just dont over do yourself i am starting a page on facebook facebook.com/PCOSgrouptalk for all those looking for help and advice and just to let it out with other women who are dealing with this we are not alone x
I was going to say what Diane has said, i would recommend going back to you GP given that you have been trying for over 2 years.
Good luck!
