Hi had 2 embryo transfer yesterday on day 3 very upset didn't make it to 5day blast I'm 39 years old so last chance been trying for 9 years

Hi Kat ... I'm a similar age (38) and had 2 x 2 day embies put in. I too had been slightly perturbed when they wanted to put them back so early but it's worked out for me (so far at least). Currently 8 weeks pregnant (will find out tomorrow if both have made it or not). Don't give up hope still plenty of chance it will work for you too!!

2 friends of mine have had IVF in the last 2 years, one is 33, the other 40. One had 2 2 day embies put back, the other had 2 3 day embies put back. None of them were top grade embies and neither friend was hopeful.
From those cycles, one had 2 boys and the other had 2 girls - so of course it's possible!!!!
Why did they put them back? Did you not have enough to go to blast or did they just decide they were better back in you?
There are such split opinions on whether embies are better in or out - one very strong train of thought has to be that any embryo is better in your womb, where its meant to be, than anywhere else!!
So try to relax, protect that precious cargo and good luck xxxx
Had my scan this afternoon ... Both still going strong in there, was really weird seeing them both of screen could see way more than I thought.
Kat I asked the nurse why they put them back so early and she said that if they look good enough they will always try and put them back as early as possible ... Not sure if that's just the view of my clinic or not

Eggs 2 not so good they arrested today every body have been so good I'm feeling so much more hope full thank you every one well done debh xxx
