2ww - (4dp5dt) hardly any symptoms - any positive stories?

Just posting on here to get some reassurance and hope really! It’s been 4dp5dt and I have hardly any symptoms apart from bloating. This is my 3rd transfer, this time taking add ons of aspirin and lubion injection. Should I just forget looking out for symptoms such as implantation bleeding? Would I experience this at 4 days? Is it really any indication that it’s worked? also would you ignore your usual period due date as timings are now messed up from the medication?

Would be lovely to hear stories from women who felt no symptoms but got a positive result! Xx

Morning !

I am 12dp5dt and had a few symptoms on 3dp5dt mainly bloating , slight cramping and diarrea and sore boobs. A day or two after this all symtoms vanished and i had very faint lines on tests ( i tested 5 days early too!!) Yesterday i finally got my dark progress line and again today so massive weight off my shoulders. Two days ago i started with symptoms again but this time a dull headache and slight cramps in lower tummy. I have also now started feeling nauseus this morning. Official test day is tomorrow and i am excited to see how things develop. One thing i would suggest is trying not to test too much like i did , i was obsessed with getting a progression line but suppose thats natural. I wish you well 😉😊

Congratulations on your positive ❤️❤️❤️ already this makes me feel hopeful 🥰 Oh I’ve been there before testing early but it’s always been negative so resisting the urge and may be too early anyway. Hopefully I can last and test on OTD. I will just have to see how it goes until then and try and not read so much in to symptoms or lack of. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy xx

I am glad this has made you feel hopeful 🥰 its a rollacoaster isnt it! I will never uee cheap tests again . I found rhe ER pink dye the best although the clear blue digital was quick and easy to use and gave a clear result with the word pregnant although this got me nervous whilst waiting with this one. For reference i am 40 and this is my first ever ivf so so far so good but i am not getting ahead of myself and continue to hope and pray. I wish you all the best x

I had 6 transfers and all the symptoms I had were always from the medication. When I got pregnant the real ones started just before my first US.

Thank you for sharing, this makes me feel much more hopeful and that symptom checking within 2ww is nothing concrete to go by xx

Hi, you don’t feel any pregnancy symptoms until at least 6 weeks. Any symptoms you feel are from medication. I did 5 transfers and a mock cycle for a biopsy (no transfer) and always felt the same ‘pregnancy symptoms’. I felt pregnant every time but wasn’t- it was just the meds. But some people don’t get the symptoms from the meds. The mock cycle was very eye opening for me because I knew nothing had been transferred but I still had the same symptoms x

Thank you for sharing, this is very interesting to know even with the mock cycle you felt the same symptoms - this has put me at ease to no longer symptom check as it doesn’t mean much in this wait. What were the real symptoms you experienced post 6 weeks? X

Nausea, sore boobs and for me bad reflux and indigestion throughout. I also learnt that the symptoms come and go which people don’t talk about enough because it stresses you out when you suddenly feel ‘normal’ again. But it’s very common for symptoms to fluctuate. Especially the boobs - I had phases of them not being sore for weeks and then it would come back. I had nausea throughout my pregnancy and some times I’d have a few days of feeling fine which freaked me out and then it usually came back worse! I also remember having weird pains very early on around 6 weeks - really bad groin, back and bum pains. Also one sided stomach pulling sensation/stabby pain. Lasted a week or 2. I remember obsessively googling every change. Those pains were unique to me and not common - just my body doing weird things so don’t stress if you don’t get them. I know people who didn’t get any pregnancy syptoms throughout their whole pregnancy apart from feeling a bit tired. I’ve also been pregnant before and my symptoms were different - way worse nausea but no reflux and indigestion. This time the reflux and indigestion were the worst thing!!! But yes, having all the pregnancy symptoms when I had a mock cycle made me learn not to symptom spot during ivf. Good luck x

With my first successful IVF pregnancy I had zero symptoms in the 2WW apart from slightly tender boobs and didn't get anything till I was 9 weeks when I had mild Nausea for a week. I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant with my second IVF pregnant and have had pretty much zero symptoms apart from constipated as I'm on Lubion too and that's the glamorous side of being on so much progesterone. I had an implantation bleed with my first pregnancy and didn't with this one. I also have had two other transfers, one failed and the other ended in a chemical and all next to no symptoms. Not everyone gets lots, especially so early. Also, as I prove, you can have different symptoms with each pregnancy. I've driven myself mad comparing to my successful pregnancy but chilled out now I'm getting closer to 12 weeks.

Good luck and no it's hard but try not to over analyze xx

Congratulations 🥳 on baby no. 2 💕💕💕Thank you for sharing your experience. That really does prove symptom checking is nothing to go by within the 2ww as both of your pregnancies were quite different. It’s reassuring to know I don’t need to compare myself to a symptom tick box and it’s time to start thinking positive thoughts for the next week xx I’m off to a head spa so I’m looking looking forward to the rest and relaxation 🤗xx

I didn't have a single symptom on my successful transfer.

All 5 before I was convinced each time they had worked because I had loads of symptoms - all caused by the meds.

Aww thank you for sharing! I have all the hope and more now. I’ve been crying a few times since the transfer, going around in my head with doubts but could be the mix of all the hormones im taking 🥴
