I just heard back from my clinic, we sent off 7 embryos to be tested, two were not progressing normally so they were not biopsied in the end and 2 were abnormal of the 5 tested. We have 3 euploid embryos. 2 are B+B+ and one is a B+A. Relieved but immediately worrying about my fallopian tube and whether that's okay as I feel they are so precious. Thank goodness we managed to make 3 normal embryos though :).

Great news about your 3 euploid embryos!!! Why are you worried about your fallopian tube? Is it blocked? Is there a chance it needs to be removed?
(I have one blocked and it was ok for me i.e. embryo implanted in the uterus but was initially concerned about the possibility of an ectopic…)
When I had my miscarriage last September I had some pain a few weeks later and was diagnosed with a hydrosalpinx. As my tube is no longer showing as inflammed they don’t think it needs removing but it’s a bit of a point of concern for me because I miscarried twins. They might have not been euploids though. Actually you saying that you have one and it was ok has made me feel a bit more hopeful.
Hi 👋🏻 I just read your post and that you have a hydrosalphinx. I don’t want to worry you or stress you but for me, I was advised by my clinic before undergoing IVF to have mine sorted and so had surgery to clip it. The issue with a hydrosalphinx (what I was told) is that the fluid contained in it can leak; I was told to imagine it like stagnant water and so unhealthy for an embryo and so to give myself the best chance have surgery to remove or clip the tube was the best choice. X
My other tube was had a distal block but not by hydrosalphinx and they were worried about that x
My UK clinic thought I had a hydrosalpinx and I was told the same as you.. that the fluid can leak out and is toxic to an embryo.
I went in for the surgery.. tubes were fine but I had stage 3 endo and ovarian cysts. Glad I had the operation done though xx
They’re saying I don’t have a hydrosalpinx anymore though so they don’t want to do anything other than monitor it with scans. I don’t know whether to just get a hycosy scan done privately.
great news lovely 🥰 best of luck for them 🫶🏻 xx
That's a fantastic number!!
I had my tubes clipped due to hydrosalpinx - I would probably think about it for your piece of mind because mine were leaking fluid in the uterus and making a toxic environment.
xx
that’s great news. That’s a great number. I agree with others to look at if the hydrosalpinx needs a procedure to help implantation.
