Hi all, Before my embryo transfer I’m planning to test my uterine microbiome. As we know Emma & Alice is the standard practice. However I’ve come across Fertilysis company who offer vaginal and uterine microbiome testing at home (swab and period blood) …. Much more convenient and about £500 cheaper too!! Also Fertilysis tests more bacteria and viruses too than E&A.
My Spanish consult tried to sway me towards E&A until I showed her in detail what Fertilysis really includes and how they test etc. She seems a little more open now.
Has anyone had a positive or negative experience with Fertilysis or been told not to use them? I could find a thread from 3 years ago from JoeysJourney but that’s it. That all seemed positive comments towards Fertilysis!
I presume they can look at lactobacillus in the uterus via blood?! (I may email them to check that one!) Hopefully not just from the vagina
I’m planning on ordering a Fertilysis test and see how that goes initially!
thanks for any sharing ☺️
