Updated egg collection

Hi all hope your all having a good day, had my egg collection today, they collected more this time round 22, first egg collection was 17! Now have to wait until tomorrow to see how many fertilise, the amazing thing is and the thing I can't praise enough is proxeed! My partner had 12 million so low sperm count on our first egg collection and today he had 29 million!!! Also his motility has improved and generally everything so we are very hopeful ☺️ please wish us all the luck in the world and also I we will be wishing you all goes well too! 🙂

brilliant! So much more chance of it working with natural ivf as the egg chooses the sperm in natural fertilisation.

Good news for your partner too! Same happened to us the day of egg transfer. I put it down to all the running he started doing which by then he had stopped but fact is sperm takes 3 months so it was whatever he was doing 3 months prior!

Yes hopefully, we are locked in with the 2 multicycle package with icsi at the moment, but hopefully if his does stay the same and we needed a dreaded 4th cycle then it would be a bit cheaper doing just the ivf, but we are happy but also apprehensive because he's had 4 samples since we've started the fertility investigations and his first one was really good, then his second was only 8 million, then our first egg collection was 12 million and now it's back up lol, you could say his sperm is a roller coaster for sure 😂 have you heard of this before ? Also I'm sorry if I've asked this before did you finally get your miracle ? Xx

No worries, yes we got 3 blasts from 10 eggs and although at the time I had to freeze them all my first transfer didn’t work was medicated and my second was naturally modified I changed up things like cut out caffeine, had acupuncture and yes I got my DD now on her way to 3 yrs old ❤️

ok on the samples don’t worry my OH was up and down all the time, count went up, motility went down, etc etc. one went up the other went down. He was always borderline for nhs but we’d been trying long enough by them and got the nhs funding. And oddly that day his sperm was fine 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm so very happy it worked out for you, how amazing! I bet your loving every little bit of motherhood bless you! And to the sperm conversation it's good to know my partner isn't the only one then, as I've searched until my brain has fizzled out and it only usually gives you information wether it's either good count or bad so I gave up in the end! I do appreciate you replying, one good thing about this forum is you never feel alone in all this madness! I will keep you updated on what these next few days bring xx

Hello ladies, another update, today is day 5 and we have managed to get 5 embryos, 2 which are graded 10-10, 2 which are graded 9-10 and the last graded 8 but they are all suitable for freezing, so very happy 😊 thank you for all your support and fingers crossed on the rest of yours journey xx
