I'm 7 days past 5 day transfer...been TTC for 6 years...1st cycle of IVF and I'm so nervous 💕

I'm 38 years old and in my 2 week wait. I'm due to test on Fri 28th. I've had lots of symptoms and getting my hopes up but I know the Progesterone gives similar symptoms so I just don't know. The 1st couple of days I had quite bad cramps and was in alot of pain. Now I'm still getting the odd twinge, lower back pains, getting up in the night for a wee. I want this so bad. I have a 20 year old daughter but only met my husband 7 years ago, he doesn't have kids of his own. This will complete our family and i keep thinking these symptoms mean good news but I could be kidding myself...fingers crossed. Any advice or tips? Anyone else had these symptoms and nit been pregnant? Thank you 😊

Hi Charlotte! I am also 38 in my two week wait with test day on 28th!! Transfer twins!

I don’t really have any advice but your symptoms sound promising. It’s such a wind up with symptoms of medication vs pregnancy!

Is this your first transfer?

I am pretty sure my transfer hasn’t worked sadly but not at test date yet so still clinging to a bit of hope, but just wanted to wish you all the very best! I hope you will come back and update on Friday! Xx

Hello Charlotte, I feel what you're at, I'm an intended parent, my surrogate mother went for second transfer on the 17th, and we are on 2 week waiting, our test will be on 27th,it's also twins, I don't know what to think as I'm not next to her and not knowing the symptoms, but I'm a hoping intended parent, I will also come and update how it went. Im 37 and having a six year old son, I had hysterectomy.

I’m day 8 post 5 day transfer and having cramps today that have me thinking my period is coming.

Ive not had any symptoms at all but I did cave and test with the pregnancy test strips I’ve never used in my ovulation kit box. I’ve have had a faint line the past 3 days but I know you can’t really trust early results and I really feel like these are my normal monthly cramps.

I'm absolutely devastated, it's test day today 11 days post 5 day transfer and it's negative 😪 I don't know how to feel....I've been ravenous all-day which I'm hoping it a good sign, testing again up until day 14 and then I'll have to accept defeat. We have 1 frozen embryo to use so at least we have that. I was just so sure I'd be pregnant, been feeling like I am but I guess that is just the Progesterone. Still got twinges and also had diarrhoea a few times today.

Iam so sorry to hear that dear, as for me the results came positive for my surrogate mother.
