Has anyone used Biome Femme V probiotics vaginally? Do you just insert the capsule as it is?

Hey lovely, Biome Femme V probiotics are to be taken orally not vaginally. It has been clinically researched and contains probiotics for the vaginal microbiome and contains Lactobacillus species, one of which is Lactobacillus crispatus (very few on the market includes this). It is a very tiny capsule. The idea is that when taken orally it helps colonise the good bacteria in the vagina.

Probiotics that you insert vaginally are much larger in size. Hope that helps 🙂

I have used the Biome Femme probiotics, I took them orally and also inserted some vaginally. They came very highly recommended to me. I also did 10 days of Flora Plus pessaries. These are very good, but if your doctor can prescribe it, Gynaflor pessaries are also excellent and will help thicken lining as they have small amounts of estrogen. All of this helped bring my endometrial biome back to the correct levels of lactobacillus after I needed an antibiotic for high levels of garderella (discovered on EMMA biopsy).

Tackling my low LADs and high NKs now, praying all the time and effort will help with a good result 🌈

thank you. Would you mind sharing the link to the flora plus pessaries?

Which antibiotic did you take and for how long?

I discovered high levels of garderella from my Fertilysis test.

I’m sure all you will end up with a good result 🤞🙏

This is the flora plus: it says it's for yeast, but it's what the lab recommended even though I didn't have thrush multi-gyn.com/ie/product/mu...

The antibiotic I was prescribed was Flagyl, the lab suggested 7 days but I took it for 10 days (with the sign off from my doctor). It has another name I can't recall, but you can look it up. It's very strong, not the easiest to take, but seems to have done the trick for me.

Best of luck! ✨

Thank you! This is interesting, I am also on a 7 day course of the same antibiotic. I will ask my doctor what they think about extending to 10 days.

I’m on my 2nd month supply of Obtibac for Women. About to start another treatment cycle & will be checking with my consultant whether to continue with them along with all my other meds.
