8DPT - too light??

hi,

I'm currently 8DPT and got a faint positive this morning however this isn't the first time I have had this as i have had 3 chemicals pregnancies after losing my beautiful boy at 24 weeks 🌈 so I'm definitely not getting my hopes up. The first chemicals were from natural cycles and this one is from my first frozen transfer with a pgta tested embryo .. should I expect this to be darker at 8dpt? Xx

I'm so sorry that you lost your boy at 24 weeks - how utterly heartbreaking.

To be honest that looks ok for 8dp 5dt on those tests. They don't get massively strong anyway - I'll see if I can post my last line progression which looked similar xx

thanks for your reply and yes still very much on that emotional rollercoaster after losing him ❤️🌈 that would be great if you do find them as I've no idea how it should look 😣 I've ordered some frer tests so maybe I will use these instead xx

These were the 2 non early response I did at 10 days and I think yours is as dark at 8 days. My chemical was a lot lot lighter. Cautious congratulations!!!! Got everything crossed for you 🍀

I agree it looks good for 8dp! I didn't test early (I've also had chemicals and have a irrational fear of pregnancy tests 🤣) but I found the strip tests never really got very dark for me anyway even when 5 or 6 weeks pregnant.

I’m a day behind you, 8dp5dt today.. did my first test yesterday evening and got a super faint line on an HCG strip. Did a clearblue which came back quite quickly positive this morning but the strips are still super faint.

Have you tested again today?! Hoping it’s a sticky one for you! 💫

Ooh that’s definitely darker! 😍 I caved and did a digital one this morning that said “1-2 weeks” … OTD on Saturday, so not too much longer to wait. When’s yours? Everything crossed for you 🙏🏼💫

Same got a dark line last night but still so worried due to the 3 early losses I had . Should have a scan next week at the early pregnancy unit 🤞🏽 hope all goes well for you xx

Same to you ❤️🌈 could you not ask the gp for one earlier? It's because I'm under the early miscarriage clinic and also because I lost my baby at 24 weeks so have always been under their care, I'm sure if you ask and say your worried they might see you? Xx
