Has anyone used ARGC Clinic in London?

ARGC clinic
Hiya, I have. What did you want to ask?
Thank you for replying, I am Bristol based and wondered if I needed to be in London daily for the tests or if they have any other clinics where this could be carried out?
They are intensive and once you start treatment there are periods of time where you have to come in daily for blood tests either in the stimulation phase or monitoring before the transfers. It was tiring for me as I had to manage going into work after. Blood tests are done at a separate place who offer the service to other nearby clinics so the wait can sometimes be long.
But if work is flexible I think this clinic is thorough at monitoring pregnancies and adjusting medication accordingly. When you have your hcg blood test on day 10 after transfer you have come in the following day or two so they can see if it’s a viable pregnancy.
I’m not sure if they any other clinics as I live in London.
Thats helpful thank you
No problem. It might be worth speaking to them because you might be able to do your blood tests closer to home as they get an external lab to do them. You would still need to come down for scans but that might ease pressure of too many trips to London.
I don’t mind answering, I wasn’t successful but only did 2 transfers with them; 1 MC and 1 chemical pregnancy. I’ve changed clinics to an abroad one for financial reasons because I’m on the donor egg pathway and need a new donor. I honestly think they are good but I found it exhausting to manage going to appointments and work.
Hi. Yes I have.. for my only successful cycle. Since we had to travel from North, I took a long leave from work and lived in London for a month, as it wasn't possible otherwise. I had daily blood tests, and every 2nd day scans with them. It's virtually impossible to do anything else along with that treatment and monitoring regimen. And the closer you live, the easier it is.The tests started with my 1st day of period, till the positive beta hCG test.
They wanted tests and progesterone levels afterwards, which I did locally and shared the results with them via email.
Good luck 🤞
I am currently under their care + 9 weeks pregnant, my first pregnancy after 3 failed transfers at a different clinic.
It is very intense, you would definitely need to be closer to the clinic at points for daily / every other day trips! They are still seeing me at least once a week! X
Thank you and congratulations x
