Wow, currently hiding in the toilet at work absolutely gutted. Bright red blood and quite a lot of it. It’s no longer spotting.
My first ever FET worked first time so I had been quietly confident it would be easy second time round. Grade A embryos from when I was 34 years old. No diagnosed fertility issues. Natural transfer.
Sitting here questioning what I’ve done wrong. Maybe I’ve been too stressed. We have 3 embryos left at least. Question is when do we try again and what can I do differently…

Thank you. No one know we were doing this besides myself and my husband. I wanted to give everyone the surprise that people without fertility issues get to do. I might have to reach out to talk though.

Hi, I doubt you did anything wrong, sometimes they just don't stick sadly. I had 4 failed transfers (all grade A) before I finally had one stick! Just take your time to grieve and get over this loss.
If you're not at official test day, keep taking meds, bleeds can happen for many reasons (including bright red, and including being caused by the meds).
hi, you didn’t do anything wrong, it may just not be an embryo capable of implanting, I had no fertility issues and had 6 transfers and 1 baby (I was older than you are which often takes longer) but all embryos were graded well but probably just genetically not completely correct. Even in our 20’s probably 20-30% of our eggs are not normal so it’s nothing you have done.
Go again when you feel ready. I felt like I was in a real rush so I didn’t wait long between transfers but time is on your side, so give yourself time to feel ready to go again.
Thank you. ❤️ I’m 39 and my 1st child is 3. My embryos are from when I was 34/35. You might be right about the genetics…
The differences in this transfer to the one in 2021 was that I did cyclogest pessaries for a few days before this transfer but stopped at they made me feel so ill. We then did an ovitrelle at time of transfer. I’m paranoid I had too much progesterone and I was too stressed. I had acupuncture in 2021 but not this time and I had the embryo glue this time but not first.
I'm so sorry to hear this, be kind to yourself and take time to heal before you go again! I swear by accupuncture, my FET before this pregnancy ended in a chemical and it was my only round I didn't have accupuncture. It's amazing for stress and kept my mental health in much better check. I started it after the miscarriage to help me cope and prepare me for my next round!
I’m so sorry, you did nothing wrong! For. A FET if it’s gonna stick it’s gonna stick and it just wasn’t an embryo that was meant to be 😢 as you were sporting before test day I would ask your clinic about adding Lubion injections next time alongside progesterone pessaries (I know you said they made you ill but they are very worth it and it does settle down after a few days) so that you can at least rule that out and get to test day next time. Thinking of you and be kind to yourself over the next few days and weeks xx
