Donor eggs access fertility

I am lucky to have a son from my first ever round of IVF.Since then we've done 5 fresh rounds and 2 fets. In that time I've only become pregnant once and had a miscarriage.

My consultant told me yesterday it's time to stop. I'm 36 and devastated by this, but also don't think I can carry on the heartbreak.

She's suggested donor eggs and I know there is a 50% refund package.

I have no known issues with my uterus, it all appears to be my eggs.

Does anyone have experience of applying for this 50% refund package with a history of recurrent implantation failure?

I'm worried I won't be accepted.

Thank you x

hi, yes, I had a total of 6 transfers with my own eggs , one of which was my son but then at age 42 switched to DE and was accepted for the 50% refund package with access but went with CARE pay at the time as this was the financial option at the clinic. You have already had a baby so i would hope that you have no problem with being accepted. Good luck 🍀🍀 hoping the process is smooth for you xx

Thank you- the consultant made me a bit worried I would've accepted due to recurrent implantation failure

I could be wrong but it’s not necessarily RIF, it may be the embryo rather than receptivity? They didn’t mention anything to me after 3 failed transfers but I am older than you , so in my case, very probably the egg quality that was the problem x

Hello, I don’t but thinking of using it soonish - haven’t done all my homework yet. From what I can tell the acceptance rate is high. Speak with your clinic and Access, I don’t see why they would refuse, especially because of your age. Best of luck x
