hi ladies, after a really intense year, 3 failed transfers, 2 egg collections - more tests then you can think of! I am getting ready for our 4th transfer (I think around the 8th dec!) which will be our first PGT-A tested embryo and at a new clinic
aside from the obvious has anyone got any tips? Especially to stay mentally calm, we won’t get the result until around the 21/22nd December, so really praying for a Christmas miracle 🤞🏼❤️

Good luck! Take one day at a time. As it’s a busy time of year, maybe book a few things in your diary to break up the 2ww so your brain isn’t 100% IVF each day ☺️
I followed a doctor from Harvard that she recommend after transfer to spend the first 3-5 days from the bed to the sofa to a chair and keep moving like that,,,,. Basically totally relax and lots of movies and not hard work.
I have been doing them - my period has just stopped so will carry on for the next couple of weeks or so and stop a day or two before transfer. Is that what you did?
Yes, i did it for 1 month before transferred and stopped few days before (maybe 2?!, can’t remember exactly, but the important is that there will be good bacteria down there :))
good luck!!! Keep really well hydrated, keep your feet warm, rest whenever you feel you need to… and apparently 2 Brazil nuts a day are good. As is pomegranate. Sending you love and luck xxx
Good luck! I’m having my 4th transfer of my donor embryos made using my little sisters donor eggs in the new year! Fingers crossed it is 4th time lucky for us! 4 is my lucky number! 🤞🏽🙏🏽
Wishing you the best of luck! We transferred a PGT-A tested embryo in January and I now have a 6 week old little boy 💙. He was the first PGT-A tested embryo we had put back - so it can happen. My advice would be to relax (easier said than done, I know!), eat healthy (plenty of protein), cut out alcohol and drink plenty of water, so your body is transfer ready. I also did acupuncture before and after transfer. Hope it all goes well! X
Thank you so much! We have transferred 5 embryos across 3 transfers before but all not PGT-A tested + all ended with negative tests.
I am not drinking alcohol, have been having acupuncture weekly and have a lymphatic drainage massage tomorrow as they are meant to rid the body of toxins too!
hopefully we are as lucky as you - congratulations 🥰
I had 4 failed transfers and 1 chemical before finally trying with a PGT-A tested embryo (the others were not PGT-A tested), so hopefully you'll have the same luck! I agree with a previous poster about eating a few Brazil nuts a day too (I did that in the month leading up to the transfer, so now would be a good time to start eating them) X
