Due to start my injections this Saturday I have been prescribed meriofert. Just asking out of curiosity what others who have also been diagnosed with endometriosis have been prescribed for their cycles and is meriofert a common IVF drug used for ladies who have endometriosis ?
Those diagnosed with endometriosis wh... - Fertility Network UK
Those diagnosed with endometriosis what IVF injections were you given to take?
I have endo and used meriofert - by far the best drugs for me. Good luck x
Not sure. Wasn't aware of any correlation between endo and the drugs. I have pcos and endo and was on bemfola for stims and then cetroride to prevent ovulation
Hi, so far I've been given prostap for down reg, menopur for stims, lubion, clexane (had a previous miscarriage) and cyclogest. For a FET cycle, instead of menopur I take progynova tablets. My consultant hasn't mentioned that my endo impacted what drugs he prescribed although down reg seems more common for endo ladies. Unfortunately I've had flare ups throughout and the progynova (oestrogen) seems to have made my endometrioma double in size in the space of a week 😬 but assumed that could be a risk. Hope that helps! Xx
hi I have endometriosis on all of my ivf cycles were the long protocol they wanted me to down regulate first ( switching off own hormones) using Suprecur injections. Or prostap And then meriofert for the egg stimulation. Everyone is different & down regulating isn’t always necessary
Best of luck. X
Hi, I'm unsure if the meds I was prescribed were due to Adenomyosis and Endometriosis or not. But I was on Zoladex down regulation (long Protocol IVF not the additional 3 months) Gonal F, Meriofert, Fyremadel for 1 day to prevent premature ovulation and Ovitrelle trigger. This worked brilliantly for my egg collection.
I think the meds the prescribe are due to your hormone levels etc. As opposed to any conditions you have.
Best wishes x
Lelo3479 That makes more sense actually that what they prescribe could be based on each individuals hormone levels. Because each of us seem to be on different protocols.
