Bleeding before egg retrieval, IVF

I am due to have my egg retrieval Tuesday morning after long protocol fresh cycle.

I have some spotting Friday eve/sat morning which then stopped, it is now Sunday night and it has started again but it’s much heavier.

Anyone else experienced this?

this is my third fresh cycle and never had bleeding before at this stage.

I spoke with my doctor this morning and she said to carry on with retrieval and judge where the bleeding is coming from whilst I’m asleep, then decide whether to freeze all or continue with a fresh transfer.

I’m worried this heavier bleeding tonight could effect my egg retrieval?

i was told my lining is very thin when i had a bit of blood before retrieval. We didn’t go ahead with a fresh transfer in the end as they said it would definitely fail.
