Two tables taken once of prenatals

Hi members, I need your guidance. Is it okay taking two tablets of prenatals at the same time once a day ? I am 40 and want to improve my egg quality

Hey- prenatal don’t really improve your egg quality per se just your overall wellness. It really depends what level of each vitamin is in your prenatal and what level is safe for each whether or not you can double up. For egg quality you might be better adding something like coq10 alongside your vitimins at the dose recommends for over 40s (which I think was 600mg when I took it) good luck xx

Thanks you for the response. Did Coq10 help with egg improvement? Which other supplements amdid you take for your successful cycle?

For my son I just took folic acid and vitamin D ( age 37) and on my last egg collection I took coq10 for 3 months prior, pregnacare and some extra vitamin D (age 42) I got less eggs but 2 blasts of good quality and currently 7 weeks with the 2nd embryo. I’ve no idea if the coq10 made a difference this time or just luck! (I’ve also had 5 egg collections in between this where I’ve tried impyrl and lots of other things with no luck) Xx

Hi there! It's generally best to follow the dosage instructions on the prenatal vitamins or as advised by your doctor. Taking more than the recommended dose might not really be beneficial and could even be harmful. Supplements like CoQ10 are often recommended to help improve egg quality. Good luck on your journey! x
