Hi Everyone, looking for a bit of advice. We are using donor eggs with my husbands sperm, they have just called to say they have injected 9 eggs, is this good? I don't know whether I should be happy, trying not to stress, they only got injected today. Can anyone offer advice? Thank you.
Donor eggs: Hi Everyone, looking for a... - Fertility Network UK
Donor eggs
in the round which we have just had with DE, there were 10 eggs, 9 fertilised, and we ended up with two embryos/ blastocysts . One we transferred and one that went for freezing.
we were very fortunate and had 11 making it to blastocyst stage, 9 seems like a good number, good luck
That's a good number. We had 13 eggs injected, 12 fertilised and 11 developed into blastocysts. There's a lot of luck involved though, so it's difficult to say. I'd say 9 is a fairly decent number though. Now it's down to the egg and sperm quality. Good luck! X
I think they're good numbers. When we first moved to DE I imagined getting crazy high numbers and will admit at first I wasn't sure how I felt about our numbers, in some ways I was disappointed but then I remembered that it was a lot better than I ever did with all my OE collections added together and that they'd give us a few chances with better quality eggs.First donor- 14 eggs, 11 fertilised, 5 blastocysts
Second donor- 13 eggs, 9 fertilised, 5 blastocysts, 4 tested normal.
Wishing you all the luck in moving forward XX
We had 10 and 2 blastocysts.
We got 8 eggs, 4 fertilised and got two blasts. I was quite upset when I heard only half fertilised, thought we'd get bigger numbers but really the results were still amazing compared to our OE cycle. wishing you all the best ❤️ xxxx
