Seeking Reproductive Immunologist in London while on NHS funding - your experiences and advice please

Hi everyone,

So I am on NHS funding, and after 1 failure to implant and one miscarriage with fairly good quality untested embryos, I am considering what to do before my next FET. According to the clinicians, one failure and one miscarriage is not enough to do any further investigations, however I am considering talking to a Reproductive Immunologist and maybe getting some tests on the private. I just want to get a bit more data and understand if it might be me or if it was just aneuploid embryos before I use the last good quality embryo I have.

However, I am worried the clinicians on the NHS will not consider those tests and the second opinion, and I am just going to throw a lot of money out of the window.

Has anybody been in a similar position? Can you please share your experiences?

Also, any recommendations for some good Reproductive Immunologists in London? Please DM me.

my clinic don’t take into account any of the private tests (I’m self funding at an nhs clinic) unless they are green on HFEA so it might be worth checking with them first. I would tend to agree that one negative and one miscarriage is a bit early for investigations (this was my situation before the next transfer was my little boy) but if it’s an itch you need to scratch to make sure I understand that 💜🤗 xx
