hello everyone! We are about to start our second Ivf cycle (unfortunately our first round was as unsuccessful) and this time the hospital suggests it would be better for me to do the long protocol.
I had the prostap injection today and I’ll be starting the hormonal injections on the 4th of July. Does anyone have any experience with this protocol, just looking for advice or suggestions or anything you wanna share. thank you ☺️
First cycles are very much a learning curve as you have never used this type of medication before And even through cycle was unsuccessful it means that the clinic can " fine tune " your protocol for a better response Just take your cycle a step at a time - if ever unsure or worried ask questions or seek reassurance

We did Prostap on our current round and it was so much better for me (we'd done long with Buserelin & antag with menopur previously). From the two previous cycles the most we got was 1 low quality blasto which didn't take. On this cycle with Prostap we got 3 blastos which was remarkable for us! We're now in the TWW with a Grade A ❤️ and have a Grade A and a C in the freezer! We did also did assisted egg activation this time, so that may have made a difference too, but I found the Prostap cycle was the best for me 😊 Wishing you all the best!
