Hey, has anyone ever moved house during IVF treatment on NHS? I'm looking to move house and worried il get told I need to move my treatment to a different hospital in my new local authority area (likely causing more delay) - is that likely to happen if I've started treatment already and am happy to travel to my original hospital? I'm due to start round 2 this month and may move house in June/July Xx

I would not say I moved and pay for Royal Mail postal diversion so you would still get any letters sent x
If you are concerned you could be a bit sneaky and keep your GP etc and just don’t tell them. Then set up a mail redirection through the post office so you still get your doctors letters.
Since I tried TTC I have moved house 3 times and kept the same GP, simply because I am also a carer for a parent and ordering both sets of medications through the same practice is easier.
I moved during treatment to a diff local Authority but within the areas covered by the same hospital. I provided the new address directly to them. Tbh once you are in active treatment there aren't many letters with important information. It also depends on how far you move. There are 4 NHS clinics Glasgow Royal, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen and each clinic covers many areas.
there isn’t many hospitals with nhs funding in Scotland so when I moved even though it was from one council area to the other it was still the same hospital anyways but if you are moving quite far (say from Glasgow to Edinburgh) then just ask your clinic if you can continue there or not if you were to move before it happens and if it’s an issue then maybe looking into the redirects and GP stuff but I would imagine it is fine since you are already in treatment and not on the wait list xx
