Ibuprofen for ET and post ET?

Hi lovely community,

I’ve read on here that some IVF protocols includes ibuprofen on the day of ET and then 3-4 days after ET. That’s interesting because I thought ibuprofen was not allowed in IVF. What is the purpose of ibuprofen, please? Asking because as an endo sufferer, I suffer from high inflammation. Thank you all!

I've never heard of that - like you I thought that Ibuprofen was a no no during transfer / pregnancy.

I've been prescribed Voltarol on the day of transfer to help stop cramping but only that...

I would probably avoid if I was you xx

HiBlueberryshrub. I’ve always been taught not to use any anti. Inflammatories such as ibuprofen as it can cause damage to foetal kidneys and reduce amniotic fluid, so I say stick to paracetamol. Diane
