BFN but it’s ok

Today is my OTD and I got my BFN. I’ve felt really upset the past few days as I felt this was coming due to getting period like bleeding and caving to two early tests which both came out negative. But slowly the upset and grief have lifted and today I don’t feel too bad.

I’ve decided I’m gonna try really hard on having an uplifting and healthy month or so until I’m allowed to go again. I have two Frosties left so let’s see what happens.

Congratulations to anyone who gets a BFP this weekend and thinking of my fellow BFN s . We will be alright in the end xxxxxxx

I’m sorry to hear that and am sending lots of love ❤️

But you’re absolutely bang on that it will be okay. I also really appreciate that you wrote this post cause it’s exactly what I needed to hear today! I’m in the TWW and feeling so anxious about the result. I think cause IVF is so all consuming, it feels like a BFN will be the end of the world. But, like you say, it doesn’t mean hope is lost and there are so many uplifting and exciting things to do which don’t involve IVF! Here’s to the PMA!

So sorry to hear that you have had a BFN. It is a good idea to look forward to the future and a healthy month. Just a word of warning, I sometimes feel absolutely fine on OTD but start to feel horrendous 24-48 hours after when the drugs wear off. So if that happens (and hopefully it won't) don't be too hard on yourself if you don't manage that health kick or if you have a slump - if it happens, just keep trying to pick yourself up and eventually you will manage 🙂

I'm so sorry for your BFN but I am loving your attitude. This process is so hard, it's all about riding those high and low (mostly low, let's be honest) waves.

Hope you can look after yourself and stay positive - it definitely isn't game over.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get a positive result. Happy to hear you have picked yourself up and got back into the positive mind set. I’m in the same boat. Let’s hope the next one is the one! 🤞🏽 you’ve got this! X
