I have just had my final scan today, before ER on Monday. I take my trigger shot tomorrow- and im sure the Dr said to me to take my last Synarel/nafarelin nasal spray as usual (I have been taking it twice each nostril, 9am and 9pm)
However, the paper instructions she has written down state last nasal spray 9am.. meaning i miss the 9pm.
I dont know wether to go with what im sure she said, or follow the written instructions. I cant get hold of them now, as its the weekend.
Very much worrying. Did anyone else take both their usual nasal sprays or just in the morning of trigger?

Hi. I had my egg collection last Saturday and just took the spray the morning of trigger injection day instructed by the nurse and not to take it anymore after that. All was fine and egg collection went well. Does your clinic have an emergency weekend number you could phone to double check.
it depends what time your trigger is- if it’s before the 9pm spray then you don’t take anything at all after trigger. Sometimes if it’s before then you still take it. For example I take my fermadyl injection (does the same thing as your nasal spray) at 8pm and I triggered at 10pm last week so I had to still take the injection before the trigger. Hope that helps! Defo double check with your clinic they should have a weekend nurses line or similar for things like this xx
thank you Meathmum and Twiglet2 for your kind responses x
My clinic don’t have out of hours 😩 they just advise you to contact their sister hospital for emergencies, and they aren’t IVF specialists so have said they can’t advise.
Trigger is at 930pm.. so I’ve taken my 9am spray, but not sure if i do the 9pm as I’m sure she said or follow her written guidelines which don’t include it 😩xx
Are they not open at all at the weekends? If you can’t get anyone at all I would go with the written instructions 💜 did she ask you what time you take your spray at before telling you to still take it or was it just a comment of ‘take as normal’ as the written instructions probably took into account timings xx
