Trigger shot done!! 💉EC Wednesday!!

Well it's been a long treck but we are nearer to the end, did trigger shot tonight at 9pm, no probs, EC booked for Wed @ 9am. Can any of you lovely ladies give me any advice what to expect/take, I've been told to bring a dressing gown & slippers but was wondering if you have any ideas what else? Loose Clothing? Sanitary Pads? Xx

Comfy clothes and a pad yes. Also wear no perfume or strong smelling products. Other than that just what you said and hope it goes well xxx

I wore a baggy jumper and jeans but left the jeans open afterwards. I would also get some paracetamol as it does help. My clinic provided me with sanitary towels, although I didn't bleed much.

Also make sure you rest after. I went straight to a supermarket and walked around doing a shop. Massive mistake!!!

Hi thanks for your reply, I wore baggy clothing which helped as really swollen afterwards & they've given me co codimol if paracetamol doesn't work x

Hi Lucky17. Just hoping all went well with the egg collection today and you resting well afterwards. Drink plenty of water and stick to just paracetamol if you need pain relief. No anti-inflammatories such as Ibuprofen. Thinking of you and hope all goes well with fertilisation and transfer. Diane

Hi Diane all went well thanks, collected 9, 6 fertilised just waiting for call tomorrow, managed to get time lapse also which will be a lovely record for us to have. I've got feet up & drinking plenty as advised, many thanks x
