9dp5dt faint positives on cheapy supermarket tests, tiny bit of blood and AWFUL cramp

Hi all, firstly, thank you for taking the time to read my post. I'm currently looking at the results of a test I did about an hour ago (a photo) and one from earlier in the day. My OTD isn't until Friday, but when I was inserting a pessary this morning (sorry for TMI) I noticed there was a tiny bit of blood. I've had horrible cramp since about 6dpt and my period was due yesterday. I'd convinced myself I was out. So I went to Co-Op and bought some of their tests. It was a 25miu test and it appeared to come back positive. So I relaxed a bit. Then the cramp settled down a little. When I got home this evening, I made the mistake of reading reviews of these tests. They were all very low reviews, several stating they'd had false positives. So, off I go to Morrisons. Did a test. Same sensitivity of 25miu. Looks positive but a bit fainter. I did pass urine about an hour before I did the test though. Please tell me honestly, am I going mad? Is a little bit of spotting around this time and period type cramp normal? I feel really uncertain and upset 😪 Any advice or comments welcome xx

hi good news that something is showing in the tests, that’s all you can really ask for at this stage. It is of course early days so all I can say is you need to wait and see and I’d say get some boots pink dye tests if you can (you can get them online next day delivery or in their stores) as they are more helpful for line progression. I’ve had bleeding and cramping mean the worst but also had it on my transfer with my little boy so there really is no well to tell yet but bleeding and cramping in early pregnancy, especially with IVF, seems to be very common so I have my fingers crossed for you xxx

I would recommend getting private blood hcg through medichecks to put your mind at rest. Also the pessaries can cause cervical irritation and bleeding so might be worth trying them rectally for a bit. I had big bleeds at 5 6 and 7 weeks and all was ok with my pregnancy with no obvious reasons for it! X
