4CC embryo quality

Hi everyone, I do have a 4CC day 6 embryo. My Dr says I should try another cycle. Has anyone ever been successful with a poor quality embryo like mine?

Hey lovely. I'm 15 weeks pregnant with 3BC (day 5) and my other better quality embryos didn't stick. There are many others on this forum who've had their rainbow babies from lower quality/slow grower embryos (e.g. day 5 modules).

My 3BC was a late implanter and a few days behind for a bit, but it caught up by the 12 weeks scan. If they were good enough to be frozen (I assume yours is?) then each of them have a good chance!

Has your Dr given you the reason why they're recommending another cycle? E.g. they think it's better to preserve more embryos before attempting another transfer etc?

And more importantly what would you like to do? Of course they're medical experts but it's also important that they know & respect your wishes as well :)

Wishing you all the best xxx

Thank you jinis for the positive response. My Dr. Worried that it may not implant. 3BC is not as bad as 4CC, according to my understanding. I think ibam going to do another cycle. Currently on DHEA and COQ10

we had a 4BC work after ‘perfect’ 5AAs and 5ABs failed so it’s defo worth a shot. Iwouldnt be going for another egg collection with an embryo good enough to be frozen ready and waiting for me, it doesn’t take too much time to put it back and give it a go before another cycle 🤗💜 just my personal opinion but you gotta do what’s right for you (not the clinic) xx

I also had a 6 day 4BC work in a FET. I was pretty down about it going in, and was convinced it wouldn’t thaw, wouldn’t implant, etc. I almost went into another fresh transfer as I was so scared of another miscarriage. But my consultant urged us to at least try it - and that 4BC is now my 8 month old 😊 the other thing to remember is that they can improve after thaw. Good luck xx

I have read many comments on here from those who had failures with better grades embryos, and then been successful with their lower graded embryo.

I’ve had 6 failed transfers (1 chemical) with all AA/AB graded day 5 embryos. I’ve got a day 5 AB and a day 6 BB to transfer next time, and I’m hoping my slow little lower grade will be my little miracle!
