Fertility Reflexology

I’ve seen a lot of posts recommending relfexology. Can I ask if anyone did this whilst going through treatment?

I am due to start my medication in a week for my FET, and wanted to hear of others experiences?

I did, and found it super super relaxing!! Sadly it didn’t work for me and I found it hard to keep consistent appointments so have now moved to acupuncture which I feel is more relaxing. God knows if it’ll help, but let’s see. Good luck x

didn’t do this but did acupuncture before both transfers and after the second transfer. A boy from each transfer 💙

I started having reflexology about a month before my third transfer and continued having it weekly up until my 12 week scan - I am now 19 weeks pregnant. I found it to be the most relaxing thing I’ve ever done and I would recommend it to anyone - as long as you don’t mind having your feet touched! I did also do acupuncture for all three of my transfers. Good luck with your transfer x

I’ve just booked a session before and after my next transfer so no experience or success yet, but I had lots of positive stories when I posed the question on here. My next FET should be around 26th Jan 😊

I did fertility reflexology in the run up to my FET and found it to be a really positive and relaxing experience. My reflexologist does not recommend it during the first trimester but I was back in the second one very best of luck!

I decided to try acupuncture & reiki with my most recent round & I found it so awkward & not relaxing at all. I’m tempted by reflexology but I worry I’ll feel the same. I found with the acupuncture my mind went into overdrive! I was thinking “what’s she going to do next, I wonder what time her last appointment is, I wonder what she’s going to have for dinner, I can feel her hand on my leg, I wonder how long she’s lived in this house for……” and so on! Then I was really conscious of not wriggling as I was meant to be relaxing so all I could think about was moving my legs but she had her hands on my legs so I didn’t want to move them. At one point, I got the giggles in the part that has meant to be the most relaxing bit. I’ve decided acupuncture & reiki is definitely not for me haha.
