Period started while on stims (puregon)

Hi all,

My period arrived just as I started stims medication yesterday. Today my period is heavy - should I be worried?

I never had my period during any of my previous IVF stims. So not sure if this is ok?

hey you defo need to speak to your clinic, os it long protocol you are on? I only have experience of short protocol where stims start on day 2 or 3 of period so you are stimming whilst finishing a period of that makes sense so it might depend on your protocol of this is an issue or not so defo phone your clinic asap xx

Thanks for your reply! I double checked with them. Apparently still continue with the drugs. I’m doing the long protocol. But after reading your story, it sounds similiar except I’m stimming at the start of my period. Luckily my period only lasts 3-4 days!
