Does your clinic provide embryo photos before freezing?

Hi everyone!

Is it a standard service at your clinic to supply images of the embryos before they freeze them, without you paying for time-lapse?

My (private) clinic says they would only do it "as a favour" if the patient asks in advance, and I am wondering what our common experience is!

our clinic showed us ours only at transfer ! I fall in love with her the moment I saw her. But unfortunately we mc at 7 weeks. Maybe some don’t show to make it easier if it doesn’t work out. Either way I would like to see.

we got a usb with a Timelapse of them from fertilisation to blast. But I don’t think that’s standard, I think it’s the Embryoscope. X

We paid for Embryoscope but were never shown and pictures of the embryos. Xx

We were asked if we wanted a picture before both of my transfers and they emailed them to us later that day free of charge. We also got a photo of the ultrasound during the transfer. We’re using an NHS Scotland clinic. Hope that helps. 🤍

Hey 👋🏼 nope I’ve never heard of that and not sure why I would want to see them before they are frozen tbh 🤔 we don’t get photos of the embryos at any stage we don’t even get to see an image on screen of the embryo they are putting back in anymore before it goes in the catheter as they have said the more time out the higher chance of damage etc. I like to see them on the scan going in as that feels nice to see them back in there but either way it’s just a wee circle to me that they all look the same lol 😂 🤔 maybe I’m a weirdo xx

I got a timelaspe video of the embryos and they gave me one of when they thawed the embryo. I had to ask for these. X
