Updates from Clinic - FET

[NL2019]

Just had our second round of IVF, collected 23 eggs so had to do a ‘freeze all’ because of risk of OHSS. I had a phone call on day 1 to advise that 16 had fertilised but it’s now day 6 and I’ve heard nothing since. I just wondered how often other clinics provide updates and if this is the norm? On our last round we did IVF lite so weren’t in this situation, but our fertilisation to blastocyst rate wasn’t that good so I’m really anxious to know how these are developing.

we got updates on day 3, 5 and 6. Might be worth giving them a quick call?

Hi, I would give them a call. Our first 2 rounds we got updates 1,3 and 5. This round daily as I was so anxious 😅 (and we had embryo scope) good luck x

As the previous post mention it would be a good idea to give the clinic a call to get an update

Thanks all, I’ve rung a few times today and yesterday and just keep being told they’ll escalate the message to the lab, now coming to the end of day 6 and no update. Was just curious of others experience, this has possibly been worse than TWW

NHS round I got updates every other day. Clinic I am with now I only get day one number collected and fertilised, then find out at transfer (fresh day 5) how many have also been frozen. X
