Hello everyone, please I need a clinic that does double transfer. My clinic says it's against their policy. Plus they're worried about the risks. Please you can PM any option. Thank you

Clinic options for double transfer
we went abroad and did double transfer but it depends on the clinic, your situation medically etc before they agree i had no other health issues , a history of recurrent miscarriages and i was 33 when i started so u was deemed okay to do so.
Thanks for your response. Their other reason was because I've had a surgery before, I was also very dizzy and had lower back pain/cramps throughout my 2 weeks wait in the last transfer which they didn't know the cause. Other than that, everything is okay. I'm considering another clinic and opinion.
our clinic policy is to transfer one but will make exceptions based on history, age and grade of embryos etc if there is no great risk to you, they do make you aware of all the risks of multiples though as well (I have had 4 double transfers and 5 single transfers at the same clinic) so it might be that if you are under 39, haven’t had many previous transfers failed and your embryos are good quality another clinic might say the same. You would probably be best looking at clinic success rates and costs and then discuss your specific situation with any clinic you like the look of to see if they would recommend a double or single transfer. Ps it’s only a single transfer that’s ever worked for me so double transfers aren’t all they are cracked up to be sometimes xx
My clinic aren’t keen to offer me double transfer due to my age and BP but if this transfer (4th) isn’t successful they said they would consider it next time. This one is going to work for me though so I’ll never find out! 🌈 ✨
there are reasons they don’t offer it, multiples pregnancies are the biggest risk factor of IVF and cause the most issues. Occasionally they will offer it if you’re older and have had lots of failures but if you’ve had single transfers not work then I wouldn’t risk wasting two embryos if there’s more stuff going on than embryo quality. For example we found out I had an immune issue that meant if I had double transfers it would have repeatedly failed or miscarried.
So unless it’s a cost issue I would rethink it - twins is a nice idea but makes it a very high risk pregnancy and much higher chance of losing the pregnancy
Thanks all for the responses. I'll reconsider
Are you in London? I did a double transfer. I will PM you.
