Hi im just wondering if anyone has been put on pentoxifylline 400mg 1 tablet once a day for adenomyosis. I have a fet coming up the end of January 2024 and have been taking this medication for the last couple of months. Anyone ever taken it before and did it help you get a positive.

Thanks

Hope you get some positive replies to your post . As you know it is thought that this medication increases blood flow to the womb and this in turn helps thicken the lining

Good luck with treatment

Hi sully! I’ve taken it for two years during my IVF journey. I have adenomyosis but I was taking it to improve blood flow to my uterus. I had embolisation procedure done and it resulted in thin endometrium due to the restricted blood flow. I was taking it in combination with vitamin E. I am not sure what helped at the end as I took different supplements, medications, and did acupuncture, massages, tens… Just make sure to stop taking it as soon as you do the transfer as its safety in pregnancy is not determined. Good luck!
